Der Drache ist eines der mächtigsten und beliebtesten Symbole im chinesischen Tierkreis. Er steht für Kraft, Erfolg, Glück und Wohlstand. Menschen, die im Jahr des Drachen geboren werden, gelten als intelligent, ehrgeizig, mutig und enthusiastisch. Der Drache ist das fünfte Zeichen des zwölfjährigen Mondkalenders. Dieser spiegelt die traditionelle Geschichte wider, in welcher der Jade-Kaiser die zwölf Tierkreiszeichen in einem Rennen über einen Fluss gegeneinander antreten ließ, um zu entscheiden, in welcher Reihenfolge sie in den Kalender eingetragen werden sollten. Die Wertseite zeigt letztmalig das berühmte Portrait von Königin Elizabeth II, welches von den 12 Tierkreiszeichen umgeben ist.
