Information about the silver Kangaroo 1/1
The silver Kangaroo 1/1 coin is the counterpart to the Australian Nugget (Gold Kangaroo) and starts with the minting year 2016. The Australian gold coin was first minted by the Perth Mint in 1986 and enjoys worldwide popularity thanks to the annually changing motifs on the reverse. Like the Maple Leaf, the silver Kangaroo is a bullion coin and is therefore close to the silver spot price and has a fineness of 999.9.
The design side is the same as the gold bullion coin and shows a kangaroo on a radiant background. This is a red giant kangaroo. The lettering AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, the year of minting, the weight and the fineness can also be seen. As with all Commonwealth coins, the value side of the silver coin features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
The coin is available individually or in tubes of 25 pieces.
