We take secure storage to the next level. Our fully automated, state-of-the-art safe deposit boxes are located in the high-security storage facility at philoro Goldwerk – at the heart of our state-of-the-art refinery. The entire facility has been built in accordance with the latest security and industry standards to store precious metals and other assets with maximum protection. Around 3,000 compartments in various sizes are available.
Multi-level access system
Access is granted via multiple security levels:
Biometric recognition
Electronic authentication
Only authorized persons are granted access
Once you have entered the secure room, the door is locked behind you so that no one else can enter while you are in the room. The secure room can only be reopened once you have left the room and your locker has been returned to its storage location.
Robot-controlled system
Access to the actual high-security area is restricted to authorized maintenance personnel only.
Access to the locker is fully automated via a robot-controlled system, without anyone entering the security room.
Every movement of the locker and every opening of the safe door is recorded in a security log.

Maximum safety with the “Crypto Memory Card” access card and biometric scan
You can store almost anything safely with us. Only items that could have harmful effects on the environment, such as moisture, bacteria, plant or animal pests, radiation and the like, are excluded. Also prohibited are flammable or otherwise dangerous, odor-producing objects, or objects, whose possession, use or storage is prohibited by law.
Yes, each safe deposit box is limited to 25 kg. The integrated scale warns you if you exceed this limit.
You will need a valid photo ID and the application form if you have already filled it out.
In the event of an insurance claim, you are obliged to be able to prove what was stored in your safe deposit box.
Booking an appointment in advance is not necessary. It is, however, recommended so we can take the best possible care of your questions and concerns.
After the initial instruction and allocation of access data, you are no longer tied to the store's opening hours and can access your stored items at any time.
Each safe deposit box comes with basic insurance coverage of EUR 30,000. If needed, you can purchase additional insurance coverage. Detailed information can be found on the price list for safe deposit boxes.
The insurance cover is limited exclusively to your safe deposit box and takes effect when the contract is opened.
No, your stored items remain your undivided property. philoro merely acts as the lessor of the locker and has no access to its contents.
Yes, you can authorize up to two other people to access your safe deposit box. They will each receive their own Crypto Memory Card including stored biometrics and access data.
The cancellation can be made via email or by mail. The rental agreement is indefinite and can be terminated annually by November 30th of the calendar year. The usage will end on December 31st. Please note that the access card and keys must be returned to philoro by the last day of the rental period.
