This is the eighth coin in the Austrian Mint's 12-part “Super Saurier” series and is dedicated to the Styracosaurus Albertensis.

Styracosaurus Albertensis is a horned dinosaur with conspicuous spines. The dinosaur possessed a striking elongated horn with a length of up to 60 cm - the longest of all horned dinosaurs.

The value side of the silver coin features all the dinosaurs that appear in the Austrian Mint's 12-part “Super Saurier” series. Stylized grasses and air bubbles are placed between the animals and fit into the overall composition in the style of a silhouette.

The motif side shows the magnificent specimen of a Styracosaurus Albertensis in a detailed and colorized depiction. A Tyrannosaurus Rex can be seen in the background.
