This gold coin from the popular Deadly & Dangerous coin series is dedicated to the Portuguese Galley. The Portuguese Galley is not a jellyfish, but a colony of polyps that are connected to each other. It has a gas-filled, blue or purple-colored bladder that can be up to 30 cm long and serves as a sail. Under the bladder are long tentacles that are covered with venom-secreting cnidocytes and can grow up to 30 meters long. The Portuguese man o' war lives in warm and temperate waters worldwide. It often occurs in shoals and can be driven onto beaches by wind and currents.

The proof quality (PF) is particularly sought after by collectors and is one of the most elaborate production processes for a coin. The coin is strictly limited to 150 pieces worldwide and is supplied in the original coin case with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
