The design of the gold coin

The reverse side of the coin shows an impressive depiction of a Chimera, whose lion’s head roars wildly. The body and face of a goat with two prominent horns are visible, as well as the tail of a snake, whose tongue flicks out of its mouth. The motif is framed by the inscriptions "MYTHICAL CREATURES - CHIMERA". The "P" mintmark of the Perth Mint is also visible. The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of King Charles III. Above the portrait are the inscriptions "CHARLES III" and "AUSTRALIA". Below, the coin displays the weight "1 oz", the fineness "9999 Au", and the denomination "100 DOLLARS".
