The first issue of the new STAR WARS™ - The Bad Batch™ series is dedicated to the leader Hunter™. The coin is issued by the New Zealand Mint and is struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The animated television series “STAR WARS: The Bad Batch” is set in the STAR WARS™ universe and is a spin-off of the “STAR WARS: The Clone Wars” series. The plot revolves around the feared fighting force known as “Clone Force 99”, which is led by Hunter, a clone commander. The members of the elite force have unique and extraordinary abilities that set them apart from other clones in the Republic army. The coin is a beautiful collector's item for anyone who is fascinated by the stories from the STAR WARS universe.

Design of the coin

The design side of the coin shows a depiction of the leader of Clone Force 99™, Hunter, in his armor. He draws a Viroblade™, a type of bladed knife, from the sheath on his forearm and prepares for action. The design is framed by the inscriptions “THE BAD BATCH” and “CLONE FORCE 99”. The words “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” and “© & ™ Lucasfilm Ltd.” are also embossed on the coin.

The value side shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the lettering “ELIZABETH II”, the country of issue “NIUE”, the year of issue “2022” and the face value “TWO DOLLARS”.
