A quokka is a small species of wallaby that is mainly found in the south-western region of Western Australia, on Rottnest Island to be precise, an idyllic island 18 kilometers off the coast of Perth. Thanks to its cute, smiling appearance, the quokka is known as the 'happiest animal in the world'. The design of the silver coin

The design side of the coin shows a quokka family. The quokkas show their typical cheerful facial expressions and appear to be looking curiously at the viewer.
