The "Seymour Unicorn" is the 4th edition of the Royal Tudor Beasts series to be released this year. The wild and untamed unicorn was considered to be the strongest of all creatures, so placing a unicorn in stone in front of the palace was a clear sign of royal dominance. Many believed that the unicorn also stood for purity and fertility.

On the design side, the artist David Lawrence has depicted the unicorn with a shield. The motif is framed by the lettering "SEYMOUR UNICORN", the year of issue "2024", the weight “1oz” and the fineness “FINE GOLD 999.9”.
